Outreach Support: Bridging support

Problem / Referral Request:
Local authority requested 3:1 staff supervision of a YP awaiting a new placement, the supervision was to be provided at a hotel for a period of 5 days. The YP was at high risk of absconding and CSE.

Solution:
3:1 staff support was provided, YP engaged in daily activities with staff. YP did not go missing from the hotel and engaged well throughout the short term support.

Results:
YP engaged with staff, was not put at risk and did not go missing from support.
